Maharashtra records 920 deaths on Wednesday

Onlooker desk: Maharashtra recorded 920 new deaths from COVID-19 on Wednesday. Daily cases are reported to be more than 57,000. After 30 days, daily case in the state dipped below 50000. However, that relief has been short lived.
On Wednesday Mumbai reported 3,882 new cases and 77 deaths while Pune recorded 9,084 cases and 93 deaths. Presently 6.41 lakh active cases are there in the state.
However, some of the worst affected areas in the state have shown decline in caseloads.
On Tuesday evening, Health Minister Rajesh Tope had said that 15 districts in the state are showing decline in caseloads.
These districts are Mumbai, Aurangabad, Thane, Nashik, Raigad, Nagpur, Latur, Amravati, Nanded, Dhule, Bhandara, Nandurbar, Osmanabad, Chandrapur and Gondia.
